Leeds Bradford International Airport (LBA)
Travel and Ground Transport

(Leeds, England)

Transport options to either Leeds or Bradford from Leeds Bradford International Airport (LBA) are good, with buses and taxis running direct from the airport terminal to both cities.

Regional towns are also served from the airport as well as National Express coaches, which travel to nationwide destinations.

There is no direct rail link from the airport, with the nearest station being Leeds City Station; those wanting to travel to Bradford by train will have to go via Leeds.

Buses

The 757 airport bus service is the busiest and it has the most frequent connections with Leeds, running as it does every 30 minutes and hourly at other times. This service runs to Leeds bus and train stations, the city centre and Otley. If you want to go to Bradford, take Metroline service 647, 651 or 747. In addition, those travelling to destinations farther afield can travel with National Express coaches, which serve destinations all over the UK.

Train

You will need to take a bus or a taxi to Leeds City Station for rail connections to destinations farther afield, as this is the nearest station to Leeds Bradford International Airport (LBA). Trains run from here to Bradford Interchange as well as London, Manchester and Newcastle.

Taxi Cabs

Leeds Bradford International Airport is served by the reliable Airport Taxi Association, or ATA, a Leeds City Council operated taxi company service. There are three individual companies, which all leave from the taxi rank located directly outside the terminal building. Streamline, Telecabs and City Cabs all have similar rates to Leeds and Bradford and can be pre-booked.
